Reactor Conversion Efficiency
VC-MET-219 — the fraction of theoretical compound the reactor actually converts — the synthesis-bay efficiency KPI.
Definition
Reactor Conversion Efficiency is the ratio of compound actually recovered to the theoretical maximum for the charge (%), computed by CHLORA from charge, assay, and recovery data. It is the headline efficiency of the Toxin Yield Reactor.
Why it matters
Conversion efficiency is the single number for reactor health. A slow decline signals catalyst fatigue or fouling; a step change signals a fault. It governs maintenance scheduling and batch economics in the synthesis bay.
