Definition

Reactor Conversion Efficiency is the ratio of compound actually recovered to the theoretical maximum for the charge (%), computed by CHLORA from charge, assay, and recovery data. It is the headline efficiency of the Toxin Yield Reactor.

Why it matters

Conversion efficiency is the single number for reactor health. A slow decline signals catalyst fatigue or fouling; a step change signals a fault. It governs maintenance scheduling and batch economics in the synthesis bay.

Formula

η_conv = m_recovered / m_theoretical   × 100   [%]

m_theoretical = C_alk(charge) · m_biomass · stoich factor
m_recovered   = net finished mass × purity

Trended per batch; a 5-point downward run opens a
maintenance review against VC-ENG hardware records.

Trend over level. A single low batch can be feedstock-driven; a sustained 5-batch decline is the actionable signal and opens a maintenance review against engineering hardware logs.
