Training Tracks

The Academy delivers six standing tracks. Most technicians hold one primary track and one or two cross-credentials; field, glasshouse, and Bio-Vault work always require more than one. Tracks are mapped to the HR training & certification matrix — no one works a graded grid, a containment sphere, or the CHLORA console without the credential the role requires.

Track 1

Cultivation & Husbandry

Propagation, canopy tending, grafting, and PPE discipline across GCL-1 and GCL-2 greenhouse grids. The foundation track every technician begins with before branching into a specialized discipline.

Track 2

Containment & Handling

GCL-4 Bio-Vault doctrine, negative-pressure cascade, two-person entry, Level-A PPE, and containment-sphere handling for lethal and aggressive cultivars. The most tightly gated track in the Academy.

Track 3

Emergency Response

Containment-breach doctrine, decontamination, and casualty handling for toxin exposure, with the escalation path that puts the Watch Officer and CHLORA on the same cascade. Pairs classroom doctrine with live drill integration.

Track 4

Toxin & Venom Science

Alkaloid and toxin extraction, lab handling of GCL-3 lines, exposure-awareness protocols, and the neurotoxic/cardiotoxic hazard theory that governs every bench in the Phyto-Synthesis Bay.

Track 5

CHLORA & Analytics

Operating the CHLORA control plane, reading Spectral Canopy Array and Mycelial Data Fabric telemetry, and turning canopy-vitality feeds into briefings and evidence-grade reporting.

Track 6

Drone & Engineering

PhytoSense Mesh operation, Pollinator Drone Swarm tasking, and Hydro-Loop systems — plus the maintenance and flight-safety basics that keep the swarm airworthy.

Certification Catalogue

Each certification below is issued by the Academy, recorded against the individual in the HR training matrix, and tied to the roles that require it in the job descriptions. Renewal lapses suspend the associated authorization until re-certified.

CertificationWho needs itRenewal cycleStatus
Toxin Exposure First Response All personnel on any greenhouse, lab, or field detail. Annual Mandatory
GCL-4 Containment Handler Containment handlers cleared for the Bio-Vault. 6 months + Directorate review Restricted
Pollinator Drone Pilot Pollinator-swarm operators and drone-bay controllers. Annual Role-gated
Toxin Handling — Tier 2 Science-wing bench staff handling GCL-3 lines. Annual Mandatory · Hazard
PhytoSense Mesh Operator Engineering staff maintaining the canopy sensor mesh. Annual Role-gated
CHLORA Operator Analysts and duty officers operating the CHLORA console. Annual Standard

Curriculum & Delivery

Every credential moves through the same four stages. A trainee is not certified until all four are signed off; partial completion grants supervised practice only.

📘Stage 1

Classroom

Doctrine, hazard theory, GCL grading, and the SOP digests CHLORA prepares for each track. Closes with a written assessment before any live handling is permitted.

🌱Stage 2

Glasshouse Practicum

Hands-on cultivation and bench work on graded grids, escalating from GCL-1 toward the trainee's target grade under a certified instructor.

🜂Stage 3

Drill Integration

Track skills are exercised inside live scenarios — containment breach, toxin exposure, and drone tasking — run through the Drill & Exercise program.

Stage 4

Mentor Sign-off

A certified mentor confirms competence in the field, signs the record into the training matrix, and the credential becomes active with its renewal clock started.
